Birth Halo Terms of Service

By purchasing and accessing Birth Halo products, courses, or services, you agree to the following terms:
1. Products & Services
Birth Halo offers digital courses, meal plans, downloadable resources, physical products (Holistic New Parent Card Deck), bundled offers (including the Prep & Nourish Bundle and other promotional bundles), coaching sessions, and a free weekly newsletter (The Halo). These terms apply to all products and services offered through birthhalo.com, learn.birthhalo.com, blog.birthhalo.com, and any associated platforms.
2. Payment & Pricing
All prices are listed in USD. Pricing for promotional offers, bundles, and limited-time discounts is subject to change without notice. Promotional pricing is valid only during the stated promotion period. Birth Halo reserves the right to modify product pricing at any time. Price changes do not affect previously completed purchases.
3. Refund Policy
Digital products (courses, meal plans, downloadable resources, bundles): All digital purchases are final and non-refundable due to immediate access upon purchase. In exceptional circumstances, course credit may be offered at our sole discretion. Any credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and must be used within 12 months of issuance.
Physical products (Holistic New Parent Card Deck): If your Card Deck arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 14 days of delivery at hello@birthhalo.com for a replacement or refund. Return shipping for defective items will be covered by Birth Halo. We do not offer refunds for change of mind on physical products once shipped.
Coaching sessions: Coaching sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or no-shows are non-refundable.
4. Medical Disclaimer
Birth Halo products provide educational and informational content only and are not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. This includes all course content, meal plans, coaching sessions, card deck guidance, blog articles, and newsletter content. Always consult your healthcare provider regarding any questions or concerns about your health or your child's health. Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of information provided by Birth Halo. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately.
5. Nutritional Disclaimer
Meal plans and recipe content are provided for general informational purposes only. They are not tailored to individual dietary needs, allergies, or medical conditions. Consult your healthcare provider or a registered dietitian before making changes to your diet, especially during pregnancy or postpartum recovery.
6. No Guarantees
Individual experiences, outcomes, and results may vary. Birth Halo makes no guarantees regarding specific results from use of our content, courses, meal plans, coaching sessions, or any other products or services.
7. Course & Digital Product Access
Access to digital course materials and downloadable resources is provided immediately upon payment confirmation and is granted for personal, non-commercial use only. Access is provided on a lifetime basis for the purchasing account holder. Birth Halo reserves the right to update, modify, or improve course content at any time without prior notice.
8. Physical Product Shipping
Physical products (Holistic New Parent Card Deck) are shipped within the United States. Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Birth Halo is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. Risk of loss and title for shipped items passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.
9. Coaching Services
Coaching sessions are provided by Birth Halo or its partnered providers (including but not limited to sleep coaching partners). Coaching is educational in nature and does not constitute medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. Coaching session content is confidential and may not be recorded without the express consent of all parties.
10. Newsletter & Email Communications
By purchasing a product or subscribing to The Halo newsletter, you consent to receive email communications from Birth Halo including product updates, educational content, and promotional offers. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not affect transactional emails related to your purchases.
11. Intellectual Property
All content, including but not limited to courses, videos, PDFs, meal plans, card deck content, blog articles, newsletter content, and supplemental materials, is the intellectual property of Birth Halo and VB LLC. Content may not be copied, shared, reproduced, distributed, resold, or used for commercial purposes without express written permission. Purchasing a product grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the content for your own non-commercial purposes.
12. Third-Party Services
We use third-party platforms and service providers to deliver our products, host our courses, process payments, send emails, and ship physical goods. These include but are not limited to Kajabi, Stripe, and shipping carriers. Your information may be processed by these providers solely for the purpose of delivering our services, in accordance with their respective privacy policies. Birth Halo is not responsible for the practices or policies of third-party providers.
13. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Account access is personal and non-transferable. Sharing account credentials or course access with others is prohibited and may result in account termination without refund.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Birth Halo and VB LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
15. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
16. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of our products and services constitutes acceptance of any changes. Material changes will be communicated via email to active customers.

These include but are not limited to Kajabi (course hosting and email), Stripe (payment processing), Namecheap (website hosting), Meta/Facebook (advertising), Google Analytics (website analytics), and shipping carriers (physical product delivery). Coaching Partners: If you purchase a coaching session delivered by a partner provider (such as sleep coaching), your name and email will be shared with that provider solely for the purpose of scheduling and delivering your session.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Birth Halo, VB LLC, our users, or others.
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on our website before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide you with our services, or as required by law. Specifically:
- Purchase and transaction records: retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance
- Email subscriber data: retained until you unsubscribe, after which your email is removed from active marketing lists within 30 days
